Gillian Carolan was born in London. Recently she has been elected membership with the ‘Society of Feline Artists’.

She is an enthusiastic gardener and this, coupled with a keen love of animals, influences much of her present watercolour painting. Gillian says, “I cannot imagine living in a house without cats. They add a touch of exotic beauty to everyday life. If you live up to their expectations they bestow affection generously – a gentle chirrup, a rumbling purr or maybe just a slow, lazy blink of the eye’.
